Cats Make Better Pets Than Dogs

Book Reviews

This year we read The Outsiders by SE Hinton.  We read reviews about the book and found that some reviews were very positive about the book and some reviews were very negative about the book. Our teacher wanted us to be good at persuasive writing, so we did some Education Perfect assignments on persuasion, then did some paragraph work on persuading people if dogs make better pets than cats.
We also wrote about topics that we got to choose ourselves from this list https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vR_YMxCl9VfO3IzzVENf42Ou1XFzT9V_IdFzDEiUCdc/edit
I chose Cats because I have strong opinions about this topic and could write a lot.

Words on their own on a blog could be quite boring so we were asked to create an image using art from Wordart.com.
We saved the wordart  images and then pasted them into a Google Drawing, made some headings and then saved the Google Drawing.  We could then insert the Google Drawing image into our blog to make it more attractive. The words in the images had to match the paragraphs we did.

I think that Cats make better pets than dogs some dogs are loud and scary while cats are cute and quiet
I personally believe that cats make better pets than dogs
Many people have had a bad experience with most dogs. They bark very loudly and they attack innocent people.

In the world today big vicious dogs can still attack people if they aren't secured
in a fenced off backyard or by a leash

  1. Love the cat picture Darri - is it your cat?. You make some good persuasive comments about why dogs aren't so good as pets especially the viciousness of them. As a general rule Darri, use capital letters for the beginning of sentences, or for the name of a person or place.
